A committee to look into the well being and security of the state’s agricultural and meals processing staff is being established by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
Walz established the committee through government order on Friday, almost a 12 months after the coronavirus pandemic first made landfall in Minnesota. Two deputy commissioners from the state’s Division of Employment and Financial Growth and Division of Agriculture will co-chair the committee.
